Privacy policy

What we hold, why we hold it, and how to make us erase it.

We ask for a name to call you by, a phone number or email address, and the details of the booking itself. That is the whole of it. We do not ask for an address you have not offered, an employer, or identification.

Why we hold it: to confirm a booking, to reach you if something changes, and to recognise you next time so you do not have to explain yourself twice. None of it is used for marketing. We do not send newsletters, and we do not sell, rent or share contact details with anyone.

How long: booking details are kept for twelve months and then deleted. Ask us to erase them sooner and we will do it the same day, unless an amount is still outstanding.

The website itself records ordinary visit information — pages viewed, referring site, browser and operating system, and the IP address of the connection. IP addresses are retained because they are the only practical way to identify and block automated abuse of the site. They are not linked to bookings and are not used to identify individuals.

Cookies: one remembers the language you chose, one remembers a location preference. There is no advertising and no cross-site tracking on this site.

Your rights: you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to reception and you will have an answer within thirty days, without being asked why.

If you would prefer we hold nothing at all, say so when you book. A meeting can be arranged from one conversation with no record kept afterwards.
